London plastic surgeon, Dr Fiumara

Dr Linda Fiumara is a Specialist/Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with a specific interest in Breast and Facial Plastic Surgery. She holds a full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and is listed on the GMC Specialist Register of Plastic Surgeons. 

Dr Fiumara is an Associate member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and is a member of the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM). 

A third generation physician, Dr Fiumara graduated with honours in Medicine and Surgery at the First University of Rome “La Sapienza”.  As she graduated at the top of her medical school (valedictorian student) she was selected to read the Hippocratic Oath.

She qualified with honours as a Specialist in Plastic- Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the University of Rome. 

Dr Fiumara completed the last 18 months of her surgical training in London, working at St Thomas Hospital and then Chelsea & Westminster Hospital. 

She also worked as a surgical Assistant/Fellow for two of the most reputable London Plastic Surgeons: Mr David T Gault (world-known surgeon for Ear Reconstruction in children), and Mr Charles East (internationally acclaimed surgeon in the field of  Rhinoplasty). 

Her surgical experience covers several aspects of Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery of face, breasts and female genitals. 

In 2008 Dr Fiumara was awarded a Fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery sponsored by the EAFPS (European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgeons).

Dr Fiumara regularly attends international courses on various modern operative techniques in order to perfect her skills and update her knowledge in surgical and minimally invasive (non-surgical) procedures. 

She currently works fulltime in the private sector and is based in London Harley Street. Dr Fiumara holds dual, Italian and British Citizenship.  

Dr Fiumara regularly receives referrals from GPs (General Practitioners) and Consultant Plastic Surgeons based in the NHS. 

The vast majority of her work is generated by word of mouth, as her professional reputation among patients and colleagues has rapidly grown since she started working in the private sector in 2010. 

Dr Fiumara abides by a tradition of extensive, thorough and highly informative consultations. Patients that approach her practice will be offered a minimum of two surgical consultations and a full medical pre-assessment prior to having their surgery. 

Dr Fiumara is regularly chaperoned in clinic by her Surgical Assistant and Registered Nurse, Miss Natalia Araucz. 

Dr Fiumara is extremely conscientious and carefully selects her own patients; she will only agree to perform surgery in cases where she deems there is an actual medical indication for the procedure.
