Profhilo Skin Booster

What is PROFHILO?

Profhilo is made of hyaluronic acid (HA), a potent moisturising factor naturally found in skin, muscle and joints. It’s ability to draw 1000 times its own weight in water into the skin makes it ideal for binding and retaining water molecules, hydrating the skin from within to leave it fresh and radiant.

Profhilo’s main feature is it’s ability to renew and repair the skin, rather than reshaping and re-volumising (which are the main benefits of dermal fillers). We recommend Profhilo as being a refreshing treatment that helps to give you a more naturally youthful skin, without changing the shape or volume of your facial features.

The first of its kind, Profhilo® is a revolutionary ‘beneath the skin’ hyaluronic acid moisturising treatment, made with the patented NAHYCO® technology. This results in a unique hyaluronic acid injectable gel, which has a prolonged stimulating activity on the dermal cells. When injected into the skin, Profhilo® stimulates skin cell receptors to counteract skin laxity and improve and restore firmness of the skin.

It is commonly referred to as a skin booster injectable treatment which effectively targets and treats crepey skin.

Crepey skin has a thin, wrinkled surface resembling crepe paper. It also demonstrates a loss of elasticity or resilience; if stretched, it does not return to its normal tone as quickly as the skin would in a child or young individual. The most common type of crepey skin occurs in sun-exposed areas.

One of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market, Profhilo® not only boosts and hydrates the skin, but also remodels ageing and sagging tissue. The most common areas of treatment include the face and neck and can also be used for the décolletage, hands, arms, knees and abdomen area where it can effectively treat skin laxity and crepeyness. The treatment is suitable for men and women as well as offering skin benefits for patients of all ages.
